OPEN DOOR
offers international self-inquiry events online and in-person

Can we cultivate a completely new mind rather than a conditioned one?

Is it possible to take a fresh look at our lives, question our fixed assumptions and allow observation to generate an inquiry into who we all really are?

Can the mind wake up and care? What keeps us blind and bound by a collectively insensitive, self-centred and fundamentally conditioned way of thinking?

Are we forever confined inside who we think we are, or what others expect us to be? Are we equally confined inside our whole perspective of others and the world in general?

What would it mean to change and what is actively preventing this change from taking place? Where is freedom, awareness, affectionate relationship and a completely different kind of living?

This is our inquiry.

International Programs & Events

  • inquiry retreats in person
  • study intensives online
  • one-to-one individual inquiry
  • local creative dialogue circles

The approach in these reflective study programs and events, has developed out of an interest in J. Krishnamurti’s talks, writings and insights.

However, the intention in our exploration together, is to think for ourselves; rather than repeat or follow anyone else’s ideas.

For self awareness to be vital in life, can it be sensitive, direct, honest, precise, challenging, heartfelt and always new?

In-Person Retreats

1-to-1 Dialogue

One-to-one inquiry on any theme of your choice, either long distance or locally. Exploring as two friends without the weight of authority or a large group dynamic

What we are trying to do, during all these discussions and talks here, is to see if we cannot radically bring about a transformation of the mind, not accept things as they are, nor revolt against them. Revolt doesn’t answer a thing.
You must understand it, go into it, examine it, give your heart and your mind, with everything that you have, to find out a way of living differently.
